The studio is managed by professionally trained designers and houses talent from renowned fashion schools like NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, Domus Academy, Instituto Europeo Di design and many more designing for private labels under Pataaka and consulting designers in the export and domestic markets.
The Sparks that ignited Pataaka:

Their journey started at Nift, New Delhi. This is where the three first met, as batch mates of Fashion Design and Technology. Fashion happened to them as they hailed from families rooted in the business of fashion export and design.
Diksha Mehta specialized in Accessory design from Domus Academy, Milan after she completed her graduation from Nift, Delhi. Having worked as a graphic designer and Assistant to the Fightercock label, she headed the design team at Criss O Cross, Delhi where she designs and manages the accessory division. Her flare for fashion also took her to Milan where she worked on Design projects for Tod’s, Hogan, Angelo Figus and Daniella Puppa, to name a few.

Meet Bhatia honed his skills at Nift, where after graduating in design, pursued his masters in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing and management. Brought up in an export business family, where he later worked as the head of design and supervised various brands in the Japanese and European markets. Meet understood technicalities of apparel and accessories had a passion for art and fashion. His personal design sensibility is very kitsch and believes in thinking beyond boundaries. His tenure at Kimaya, a leading fashion retailer where he worked as the Creative Head, helped him explore various arenas of design, marketing and creative management in specific fields like merchandising , branding, business development and marketing.

Surabhi Gandhi completed her graduation from Nift and later moved on to becoming a successful stylist in India for Cosmopolitan, Design Today, Femina, India Today Home, Indian Design and Interiors, Good housekeeping and many other magazines, specializing in creative styling for Fashion, Interiors and Advertising. She later pursued her masters in Fashion Communication & Styling from IED, Milan. Has worked with top people in the industry from the biggest names in photography, makeup, hair stylists, models and celebrities. A well known name in the industry, she now handles styling projects for Pataaka and styles and forecasts trends in the accessory industry.
“A good product or accessory needs to be very versatile and aesthetically designed. A well styled range of accessories can make or break a look. Moreover, it is very important to forecast the future trends in the same keeping in mind the past trends and consumer perspective and expectations.
